Another Assault on Emergency Contraception
Athenae at first draft has an excellent post about yet another Republican asshole trying to ban legal contraception. This time, it's Rep. Dan LeMahieu, R-Oostburg, who has introduced a bill in the Wisconsin legislature that would prevent "University Health Services from giving emergency contraception to female UW-Madison students."

I'm just going to repeat the comments of Brooklyn Girl (and hope she doesn't mind):

I am sick and tired of self-righteous, holier-than-thou MEN dictating the terms in this debate. If men aren't 100% willing to take responsibility for birth control, then they should just SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Go. Read. Don't let your guard down. Because the anti-choice, anti-women, anti-birth control fundies are still on the warpath.
