Via watertiger, we learn that Jeb!'s pet agency, the Florida Department of Children and Families, has intervened to prevent a 13-year old girl from getting an abortion, on the grounds that the unfortunate girl is "too young and immature to make an informed medical decision."

So, she's too young and immature to decide to have an abortion, but she's not too young and immature to carry the baby to full term and become a parent? Fuck you, Jeb.

The ACLU has filed an appeal. I'll keep you posted.
