It Never Stops
As happy as I am that Voinovich pissed in the Republican punch bowl and put a temporary kibosh on the Bolton nomination, the conservative juggernaut didn't even pause for breath. In the space of just one week:

Bush signed the bankruptcy bill into law

Negroponte was confirmed as intelligence czar

The House approved the energy bill, which includes a provision to allow drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, and

Iraq is still a clusterfuck, and we're paying another $81 million to keep the carnage going.

I'm sure there's more, but I don't have the heart to keep looking. I don't know if the country will survive another four years of this administration, I really don't.
